Problem Typing Part Numbers

In Supply and Demand- New, when typing a Part Number into the box at the top of the main screen, and the system then switches to the (pop-out) Part Entry Box with the predictive list of matching part numbers, CHARACTERS OF THE PART NUMBER GET DROPPED BY THE SOFTWARE, AND THE USER IS FORCED TO STOP AND RE-ENTER THE PART NUMBER. This is one element that is WORSE in S&D-New vs. S&D-Old.

Amen. I cannot force myself to use the new S&D just because of the search functionality, especially sine half the time it seems to take forever. I love some of the new features, like the recent searches, but not being able to just paste a part number and go kills it.

so annoying, hate it!

Agreed! Also the search is terrible. We have several 3 digit part numbers such as 313. If you type this in it brings up everything that has 313 in it. unfortunately the the exact part number match isn't 1st in the list so you can just type part number and press enter. It also isn't even on the screen. I have to scroll far down the list and then select the part. Why can I not just have the choice to enter the part number directly as in previous iterations of the supply and demand screen?

Jason Steinbeck agreed, very frustrating.

The recent change to cause a delay has helped, but this is still an issue. A better solution needs to be implemented.
