Supply and Demand

When typing in the part number field in Supply and Demand it would be very helpful to be able to search by the part's long description also. A lot of times the short descriptions have abbreviations so it is hard to search and find what you are looking for.

At the current time, you can only get to this with the old screens but also, even there it only updates the Labor sequences. It would be great if, 1) It would be available in the New Supply and Demand thru the Work Order History or a tab by itself and/or 2) it would update all sequences, labor AND Material. Even if it was a Company Option or a box to decide what is updated within the New Supply and Demand-Work Order History screen

Can we have a way to permanently set this to Yes or No, instead of having to click every time?

Actually SAVE the grids. I have to reset EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Why are On Hand & UM on the opposite side of the screen? I have to pull them over all the time.

The work order history screen should have the capability that used to be in the old one, where you could recalculate average times for different workcenters in the router.

when searching for the part, can the inventory_mstr2.descriptiion_2 field be added to show the extra details stored as we are limited in characters for the part description field.

In SUPPLY AND DEMAND, if I use the search function the pop-out disappears if I click anywhere outside the screen. the result is I have to sit there and wait while it does its thinking. Why can the pop out menu be a window in itself, like old S&D?

In Supply and Demand- New, when typing a Part Number into the box at the top of the main screen, and the system then switches to the (pop-out) Part Entry Box with the predictive list of matching part numbers, CHARACTERS OF THE PART NUMBER GET DROPPED BY THE SOFTWARE, AND THE USER IS FORCED TO STOP AND RE-ENTER THE PART NUMBER. This is one element that is WORSE in S&D-New vs. S&D-Old.

Add blanket Po's to the new supply and demand screen. You can filter them out now if you do not want to see them.

it allows you to create a custom view under inventory history but you can't set it as your default, you have to select it every time you run the inventory history. Would like it to save the way i want to view it and come up that way each time, not have to click to select that view each time.
