Would like to throw out an Idea for some conversation on the New Supply and Demand Screen. Love it and everyone here use's it daily. But...... The payload for this to load is rather large and time consuming. Every P/N hyperlink click opens a fresh copy/window of the NS&D Screen and it takes time to load. Then we have multiple users opening multiple copies of the NS&D screen in our Cloud Environment which is bogging down the system (really bad on some days).

Would like to limit the hyperlink method (configurable). User can configure the hyperlink action.

So my suggestion/idea is to configure the NS&D to limit the number of open screens. If you click on a P/N Hyperlink the system would check to see if the user has an already opened NS&D Screen, it would then populate the new P/N into the search and refresh the data. This way the user is not opening another NS&D Screen and waiting for the data tables to load. This method quickly loads the new P/N requested. This also limits the number of NS&D Screens open in the system and keeps the system running more efficiently.

I currently have directed our teams to ALT-TAB to their current NS&D Screen and enter the next part which refreshes quickly. While this really speeds up the system it's more time consuming on the end user since they cannot cut/paste the P/N. By changing the system to recognize an already running NS&D clicking the hyperlink will quickly switch to that screen and refresh......
